AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Sunday, bringing normal summer conditions in the hilly areas and plains and hot in the rest of the country, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
Clouds will appear at low altitudes in the northern and central parts, while winds will be northwesterly moderate picking up at times.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman and the northern cities will reach 32 degrees Celsius, and 29 in the southern cities, dropping down to 21, 22 and 20 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 42 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 29 degrees at night.
Normal summer conditions will continue over the next 48 hours, with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD further added.
