The two discussed “efforts to solve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict”, the royal court said in a statement, adding that Kushner was “visiting Jordan on a tour that includes a number of countries in the region.”
During the meeting at Al Husseiniya Palace, discussions went over regional developments, especially efforts to resolve the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
In this context, King Abdullah stressed the necessity of intensifying all efforts to achieve a comprehensive and lasting peace on the basis of the two-state solution, which guarantees the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the 4 June 4, 1967, lines with East Jerusalem as its capital, and living in peace and security alongside Israel.
