Ministry gears up to launch further expat-centric services
AMMONNEWS - Director of Operations Center and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sufian Qudah, said the ministry plans to launch new services that would facilitate procedures for expatriates at Jordanian embassies, ministries and departments, and save them time and effort.
Receiving a delegation from the Highest Jordanian European Authority (HJEA), Qudah gave a detailed briefing on the center's work, noting that it operates around the clock to serve Jordanians wherever they are.
The HJEA's founder and President, Mamoun Shdeifat, said the idea for the authority emanated from the first expat conference, with the aim to unite the efforts of the Jordanian diaspora in various European countries.
The authority is looking to be a bridge between Jordanians in Europe and in the Kingdom through organizing several activities, he added.
After the meeting, the delegation presented Ambassador Qudah with a commemorative shield in recognition of his efforts in following up on expat issues.
