Normal summer conditions forecast Saturday, rise in temperatures over next two days
AMMONNEWS - Temperatures on Saturday are expected to remain below annual average with normal summer conditions across the country, while it will be hot in the Jordan valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
At night, moderate conditions will prevail in many parts of the Kingdom, with northwesterly moderate winds picking up at times and bringing dust mainly in the eastern pars of the Kingdom. Low clouds are also forecast overnight and early morning hours, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman, the northern and southern cities will reach 31 degrees Celsius dropping down to 19, 20 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 41 degrees Celsius and lows sliding to 29 at night, the JMD further said.
A slight rise in mercury levels are expected on Sunday, but they remain below seasonal average with normal summer conditions in the hilly areas, while it will be hot in Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, it also added.
A tangible rise is also expected on Monday, bringing relatively hot in the hilly areas and hot in other parts of the country with highs clouds and northeasterly to northwesterly moderate.
