AMMONNEWS - Temperatures on Saturday are expected to hover around their annual average, bringing summer conditions in the hilly areas and the plains, while it will be hot in other parts of the country, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
At night, pleasant conditions will prevail across many parts of the Kingdom, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba with northwesterly light winds.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman and the northern cities will reach 33 degrees Celsius and 31 in the southern governorates, dropping down at night to 21, 22 and 17 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 40 degrees and lows standing at 29, the JMD said further.
Normal summer conditions will continue over the next two days, while it will be hot in other parts of the country with northwesterly moderate winds picking up at night, the JMD added.
