AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister Omar Razzaz, yesterday, said that his government is paying attention to the studies that carried out by the national institutions, in order to evaluate the performance, and address deficiencies in the public sector.
Razzaz, in an interview with the Jordan Television's 60 Minutes program, said that research centers helped the state in this regard, since the wide experience they enjoy in bringing up key issues.
Approving Income Tax Law, Razzaz noted, has adversely affected the government popularity.
Razzaz stressed that unemployment issue is a major concern for Jordanians, as the national economy provides between 30 to 35 thousand job opportunities on an annual basis, adding that the government vowed to double this figure this year.
The Syrian refugee crisis, the terror attacks in Salt and Fuheis, the natural disasters, and the economic slowdown are challenges faced the government in its first year, the prime minister noted.
