AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Wednesday but moderate weather will continue until Friday across many parts of the country, while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Clouds will appear at low altitudes, while winds will be northwesterly moderate picking up at times and blowing dust in the desert areas, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 30 degrees Celsius in Amman, 31 in the northern areas and 29 in the southern cities, dropping down at night to 18,19 and 17 degrees respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba where thermometers will soar to 39 Degrees Celsius, sliding to 24 at night.
