AMMONNEWS - Relatively moderate weather is forecast on Sunday across many parts of the country, while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Clouds will appear at different altitudes, while winds will be northwesterly moderate picking up at times, the JMD added.
By the afternoon, the weather will turn to be cooler in the mountains areas, pleasant in the desert and plains and moderate in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea.
Maximum temperatures expected in Amman for today will reach a high of 30 degrees Celsius,dropping down at night to 20. Mercury levels in the northern and southern regions will record a high of 29, 27 degrees Celsius, dropping down to 20, 19 degrees respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba where thermometers will soar to 40 degrees Celsius, sliding to 29 degrees at night.
