AMMONNEWS - A slight in temperatures is expected on Thursday, but moderate conditions will continue to prevail across many parts of the Kingdom, while it will be relatively hot the Jordan Valley and the Dead sea with low clouds and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
Mercury levels expected for today will reach 28 degree Celsius in Amman and the northern governorates and 26 in the southern cities, dropping down to 17,18 and 14 respectively. In the Gulf of Aqaba, maximum temperature will hit 38 degrees Celsius, sliding to 25 at night, the JMD said .
Temperatures will rise few degrees over the next two days, but similar moderate conditions will continue in most regions, while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba with clouds at various altitudes and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD further said.
