Moderate weather continue to prevail across Kingdom
AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Tuesday, but moderate conditions will continue to prevail in most regions with northwesterly winds, while it will be hot in the Jordan valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
Mercury levels expected in Amman for today will reach a high of 33 degrees Celsius dropping to 22 at night, in the northern and southern cities they will hover around 30 degrees dropping down at night to 21, 18 respectively. In the Gulf of Aqaba, maximum temperature will hit 39 degrees Celsius, sliding to 27 at night, the JMD added.
Temperatures are expected to few degrees over the next two days, but similar conditions will continue across many parts of the country with northwesterly moderate winds, picking up at times and stirring dust in the desert, the JMD said.
