AMMONNEWS - The Cabinet on Monday approved of delegating Ministers of Finance and Public Works and Housing to complete the required procedures for the disbursement of payments due to contractors, which amount to about JD60 million through necessary financial arrangements with local banks.
In accordance with the Cabinet's decision, the Ministry of Finance will take necessary arrangements for settling amounts owed to warehouses and medical centers related to the prices of medicine and medical treatments amounting to about JD180 million.
According to Prime Minister Omar Razzaz instructions, the Minister of Finance directed the Income Tax Department to pay the full tax refunds owed to citizens and companies amounting to about JD40 million, in addition to completing the procedures of disbursing cash subsidies to eligible citizens estimated at JD140 million.
