Mother of Jordanian Christchurch massacre victim, dies after funeral
AMMONNEWS - A mother of a Jordanian victim of New Zealand terrorist attack, passed away early Saturday, after attending her son's funeral in New Zealand, an official source at Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates announced.
Head of Operation Center at the ministry, Sufian Qudah, said in a statement that the deceased mother was among a group of families who left the Kingdom to attend the funeral of their relatives.
The ministry's diplomatic team extended condolences to the family of the deceased mother, and voiced the government readiness to transfer her body back to Jordan at the expense of the state, the statement added.
Last Friday, four Jordanians were killed and eight others were injured in a brutal terror attacks against Muslim worshippers at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, when a gunman shot dead 50 people and wounded more than 40.
