AMMONNEWS - Finance Minister Izzeddin Kanakrieh, on Friday, said that the selling of smuggled cigarettes in the local markets adversely affects the government revenues.
In a press release, the minister added that the government will stiffen penalties in such cases, as the ministry has already begun implementing procedures aim at dealing with smugglers, in order to protect the national economy through monitoring border crossings nationwide.
