AMMONNEWS - More than 50 Lebanese tourists arrived Jordan through the Jaber/Nasib border crossing on Thursday, for a tour that will take them to several touristic and archaeological sites across the Kingdom.
As part of the tourism program, the group will visit the Dead Sea, the Baptism Site, the ancient city of Petra and Aqaba to discover these tourist attractions.
On the occasion, Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat, Director General of the Tourism Promotion Authority (TPA), said return of the normal movement at the Jaber/Nasib border crossing between Jordan and Syria will affect positively on increasing passenger flow to Jordan from Lebanon by land, especially as the TPA has recently launched an intensive marketing campaign in the Lebanese market.
Arabiyat noted several factors an improvement in the positive indicators of tourism movement between Jordan and Lebanon, especially the religious tourism.
