AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II, accompanied by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, on Thursday left for Japan on a working trip after attending the graduation ceremony of Princess Salma bint Abdullah II from a military course at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS) in the United Kingdom.
In Japan, the King will meet with Emperor Akihito and Crown Prince Naruhito, and will also hold talks with Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe, to discuss bilateral relations, prospects of cooperation in the political, economic and developmental fields, as well as developments in the Middle East.
His Majesty will also hold meetings with a number of Japanese senior officials, parliamentarians, and economic and military leaders to review bilateral cooperation.
HRH Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein was sworn in as the Regent in the presence of cabinet members.
