PM : Jordan pays remarkable attention to human rights
AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister Omar Razzaz Thursday said Jordan, under the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah, would continue to attach considerable attention to human rights in Jordan at all levels.
He also commended the efforts of Jordan's delegation to the discussion of Jordan's 3rd national report on the Universal Periodic Review of Human Rights at the United Nations Office in Geneva.
In a telephone conversation with head of the delegation, Basel Tarawneh, the Government Coordinator for Human Rights, the premier emphasized the importance of working to enforce what best serves the Kingdom in the field of human rights.
He, moreover, instructed the delegation to make further efforts and to engage in consultations with stakeholders in Geneva to yield positive results from the human rights march in Jordan.
