Unstable weather forecast to bring rain until Tuesday
AMMONNEWS - The Kingdom will remain under the impact of unstable weather conditions on Monday, expecting to bring lower temperatures and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with scattered rain accompanied by thunder and hails in most parts of the Kingdom, according to Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
Flash floods are also expected in low lying areas and valleys, while winds will be westerly moderate to brisk at times, the JMD said.
Daytime temperature expected for today will reach 18 degrees Celsius in Amman, 19 in the northern areas and 17 in the southern governorates, dropping down to 10,11 and 9 respectively. It will be warmer in the Gulf of Aqaba as maximum temperatures will reach 27 degrees sliding down to 19 at night.
Mercury levels will slightly rise on Wednesday, but relatively cold weather will continue with a chance for scattered showers accompanied by thunder at times in various parts of the country. Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk at times, the department added.
