PM checks on flood-hit school students in Dead Sea
AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister Omar Razzaz on Thursday spoke by phone with Civil Defence Department (CDD) Director General Maj. Gen. Mustafa Bazaiah, to check on students whose school was struck by flash floods triggered by torrential rains in the Dead Sea area.
The premier also made calls with the ministers of interior, municipal affairs and public works and housing, during which he stressed to deal with the incident with 'utmost attention', in order to ensure the safety of the students, teachers and residents of the area.
Razzaz instructed the civilian and military services to follow up on rescue efforts and the search for missing persons.
