Erdogan: 18 suspects should be tried in Istanbul over Khashoggi murder
AMMONNEWS - Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said on Tuesday that the 18 suspects should be tried in Istanbul over Khashoggi murder and called for independent commission to investigate the matter.
Erdogan, who was speaking to members of his AK Party in parliament, also said he is confident of King Salman’s cooperation in the probe and said he does not doubt Saudi King Salman’s sincerity.
He also said the whereabouts of Khashoggi’s body were still unknown adding that there were strong signs that the killing of Jamal Khashoggi was planned.
