AMMONNEWS - Temperatures for today is expected to become around seasonal average, bringing moderate autumn conditions in most parts of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) daily brief said.
Clouds at different altitudes are also forecast with a chance for scattered showers, especially in the eastern part of the country with northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman and the northern cities will reach 26 degrees Celsius, and in the southern cities 24 degrees Celsius, dropping down to 16, 15 and 16 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 32 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 22 degrees at night.
On Thursday, a slight rise in mercury levels is expected, but similar autumnally moderate conditions will prevail across many parts of the country, with clouds at different altitudes and a slight chance for scattered showers, the JMD added further.
