AMMONNEWS - Moderate autumn-like conditions are expected to prevail Thursday in most regions, while it will be relatively hot in Aqaba and the Jordan Valley with northwesterly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Clouds at high and medium altitudes are also expected with a chance for scattered showers accompanied by thunder mainly in the eastern parts of the Kingdom, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman and the northern cities will reach 26 degrees Celsius, and 23 in the southern cities, dropping down at night to 16, 17, and 15 respectively at night. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 33 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 24, the JMD explained.
Over the weekend, a slight in temperatures is expected, but similar autumnal conditions will continue across many parts of the country, with clouds at different altitudes, the JMD added.
