SSC refuses to release on bail 12 suspects in connection to tobacco case
AMMONNEWS - The State Security Court (SSC) chaired by Colonel Mohammad Affif on Monday refused for the 5th time to release on bail 12 people arrested in relation to the tobacco factory case.
The suspects are charged with involvement in carrying out acts that endanger the society’s security, safety and economic resources and conducting acts that can change the economic entity of the country.
The SSC formed a special team of prosecutors at the end of July to investigate suspects in the tobacco factory case, upon a decision by the court’s Attorney General Brig. Gen. Hazem Majali.
