House refers income tax bill to economy, investment committee
AMMONNEWS - The Lower House of Parliament referred the 2018 amended Income Tax Law to its economy and investment committee during a session held on Wednesday.
During the session, chaired by speaker Atef Tarawneh and attended by Prime Minister Omar Razzaz and Cabinet members, 98 PMs spoke during the preliminary reading discussions, then a majority of the present lawmakers voted in favor of referring the income tax bill to the economy and investment committee, while 28 PMs rejected.
At the beginning of the session, Secretary General of the Parliament, Firas Adwan, read the Royal Decree to add items to issues stated previously to hold an extraordinary session of the Parliament.
