AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, on Monday, paid a visit to the Jordan Gendarmerie Training Center, where he was received by Gendarmerie Department Director Maj. Gen, Hussein Hawatmeh.
His Majesty listened to a brief about the expansion and development of the center in terms of buildings and teaching methods followed to achieve the highest international standards as one of the best security training centers in the region and the world.
His Majesty attended a military drill dubbed ' The Safe Shield' implemented by a high-level gendarmerie unit.
The drill included live fire exercises, drones, storming buildings and medical evacuation.
The King commended the advanced level of the Gendarmerie Department, especially in the arming and training areas, and voiced his trust and pride in its units.
