AMMONNEWS - Attorney General of the State Security Court (SSC) Hazem Majali has issued a gag order banning publishing of news about the case of a tobacco factory that illegally manufactures and smuggles cigarettes 'to protect the secrecy of ongoing investigations.'
The Attorney General told Petra that investigations found that no incumbent or former officials, public figures or businesspeople in Jordan are involved in the circumstances of the case.
He pointed out that the gag order follows news reports and allegations on social media platforms that implicate the complicity of state officials in the case.
