AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, Monday visited the Civil Defense Directorate (CDD), where he checked on various services the CDD provides to citizens.
During a meeting with the CDD Director Maj. Gen. Mustafa Bazaiah, the King underscored the importance of sustaining the development of the directorate to enable it keeping abreast with the latest developments in civil protection.
His Majesty expressed his pride in the advanced level reached by the CDD.
Bazaiah also briefed King Abdullah about the CDD's ambitious plans for further development and enhance its performance in the future.
The King also checked on the CDD’s latest advanced command and control vehicle which features monitors displaying actions on the ground via installed cameras on the vehicle which would further facilitate following up on major road accidents.
