Moderate summer conditions will prevail for three days
AMMONNEWS - Temperatures on Sunday are forecast to slightly below their seasonal average, but moderate summer conditions will continue to prevail for two days in the hilly areas and plains, while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley, the Badia regions and the Dead Sea.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD), scattered clouds at low altitudes are also expected in the northern and central parts of the country for today and tomorrow.
A slight rise in mercury levels is forecast on Tuesday, but similar weather conditions will continue with northwesterly moderate winds picking up at times, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures expected in Amman for today will reach 31degrees Celsius dropping down to 20 at night, while mercury levels in the northern and southern cities will range between a high of 29 and a low of 18. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs standing at 38 and lows dropping to 27 , the JMD said further.
