AMMONNEWS - Moderate summer conditions will remain on Sunday in the hilly areas and the plains, while it will be hot in other parts of the Kingdom with low clouds and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 31 degrees in Amman, 29 the northern cities and 36 in the northern areas, dropping down to 19, 21 and 17 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 40 degrees and lows standing at 29, the JMD stated.
Mercury levels will slightly rise on Monday but moderate conditions will continue to prevail with northwesterly moderate winds, the department noted.
