AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Monday, but normal summer conditions will continue in the hilly areas and the eastern plains, while it will be relatively hot to hot in other parts of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk with low clouds in the northern and central areas, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures expected in Amman and the northern cities will hover around 31 degrees Celsius dropping down at night to 21 and 22 degrees respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 39 degrees and lows standing at 28, the department noted.
A further rise in mercury levels is also forecast on Tuesday, but similar weather conditions will continue until Wednesday in the hilly areas and the plains, while it will be hot in other regions with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds at times, the JMD said.
