Drop in temperatures forecast, summer conditions remain
AMMONNEWS - A slight in temperatures is expected on Wednesday, becoming around their annual average and bringing pleasant summer conditions in the hilly areas and the eastern plains, while it will be hot in other parts of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) daily brief said.
Clouds at low altitudes are also predicted in the northern and central regions in morning hours, with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures forecast for today in Amman will reach 32 degrees Celsius, 31 in the northern cities and 30 in the southern governorates, dropping down to 20, 21, and 17 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 40 degrees and lows standing at 28, the JMD further added.
Similar normal summer conditions are expected to continue over the next two days with almost same conditions for the next couple of nights, the JMD said.
