AMMONNEWS - Temperatures on Wednesday are forecast to reach 3-5 degrees above annual average, bringing hot conditions across many parts of the Kingdom, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD) daily brief.
Northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, blowing dust at night in the desert region are also forecast, the JMD reported.
Daytime temperatures expected today in Amman will reach 35 degrees Celsius and in the northern cities 33, dropping down at night to 22 degrees in both areas, while temperatures in the southern governorates will range between a high of 33 and a low of 20. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 40 degrees and lows plunging at 30, the JMD explained.
A slight in mercury levels is expected Thursday and Friday, creating relatively hot conditions in the hilly areas and the eastern plains, while it will remain hot in other parts of the country.
