AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is forecast on Monday, but moderate summer conditions will continue in Amman, the hilly areas and the eastern plains, while it will be hot to relatively hot in other parts of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
Maximum temperatures expected for today in the capital, the northern and southern cities will hover around 31 degrees Celsius dropping down to 20, 21 and 19 degrees respectively . The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba will highs reaching 40 degrees and lows standing at 29, the JMD added.
A further rise in mercury levels is expected on Tuesday, creating relatively hot weather in Amman, the hilly areas and the eastern plains, while it will be hot in other regions with northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD noted.
