According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), clouds at low altitudes are also expected with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds at times.
Similar weather conditions will continue to prevail over the next two days with low clouds in the northern and central areas of the country and a chance for light showers in the northern regions, while winds will be westerly moderate to brisk at times, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 28 degrees Celsius in Amman and 26 in the northern cities dropping down to 15 at night. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 35 degrees and lows standing at 22, the JMD noted.
