AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister Hani Al Mulki on Monday laid the foundation stone of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce's (JCC) 'Amman Exhibition Park' Project on the Airport Road.
The 65,000 square-meter project will be implemented on stages at a total cost of JD35 million with the total cost of the first phase standing at JD20 million.
The center, the first of its kind in Jordan, will include exhibition halls with a total area of 5400 square meters as well as a 100-square meter conference hall that can accommodate 500 people.
The center will also include halls for meetings, workshops, training courses, restaurants, parking lots, and a 12,000 square meter 4-star hotel with 180 rooms.
President of the JCC Issa Murad said that project aims to stimulate investments and boost economic activities through providing a multi-purpose center, activating business, exhibition and conference tourism and provide job opportunities for Jordanians.
