Daytime temperatures forecast for today in Amman and the southern cities will reach 30 degrees Celsius dropping down to 20 and 15 respectively, while in the northern governorates they will range between a high of 28 and a low of 20. The weather will be much hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 40 degrees and lows standing at 25, the JMD explained.
Similar weather conditions are forecast to prevail on Friday, but with a weak chance for scattered and isolated showers, while winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust in the Badia region, the JMD added.
Temperatures will slightly rise on Saturday, creating relatively hot weather in the capital, the desert region and the eastern plains, while it will continue to be hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba. Clouds at high altitudes are also expected with westerly moderate to brisk winds, stirring dust at times, the JMD added further.
