Relatively hot weather forecast to continue over weekend
AMMONNEWS - Temperatures are expected to continue rising on Thursday creating relatively hot conditions in Amman, eastern plains and the Badia region, while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
Clouds at high altitudes are also forecast with southeasterly moderate winds, blowing dust in the southern parts of the Kingdom.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in the capital and the northern cities will reach 32 degrees Celsius, dropping down to 21 and 22 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 39 degrees and lows standing at 28, the JMD explained.
Mercury levels will further rise over the weekend, but almost similar weather conditions will continue to prevail with southeasterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD added.
