AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Monday with low clouds, creating pleasant weather in the hilly areas, while it will be warm in other parts of the Kingdom with a weak chance for showers in the northern regions in the morning hours, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
Temperatures expected for today in the capital and the northern cities will reach 24 degrees Celsius during the day, dropping to 15 and 16 respectively at night, while mercury levels in Aqaba will register a high of 34 degrees sliding down to 23 degrees at night, the JMD added.
As of Tuesday, mercury levels are forecast to rise gradually, becoming around their annual average. Therefore moderate conditions will prevail in the hilly areas and the Badia regions, while it will be relatively hot in the Dead Sea, the Jordan Valley and Aqaba with northwesterly moderate to light winds, the JMD said.
