Government denounces terrorist Paris, SurAbaya attacks
AMMONNEWS - The government on Sunday strongly condemned the 'cowardly act' carried out on Saturday by a terrorist, who stabbed a group of people in Paris, which resulted in a number of deaths and injuries.
The government also blasted the terrorist bombing attacks on three churches in the Indonesian city of SurAbaya, which resulted in several deaths and injuries.
State Minister for Media Affairs, Mohammed Momani, said the Jordanian government condemns these 'cowardly terrorist acts' and noted 'targeting places of worship is an offense that contravenes all religious values and principles.' Momani, who is also Government Spokesperson, stressed the need for concerted efforts of the international community and the various parties to root out 'blind terrorism' that kills innocent people across the world.
Momani extended warm condolences to the French and Indonesian governments and to families of the victims of the two tragic terrorist attacks, and wished speedy recovery to the wounded.
