New tax bill addresses imbalances, reduces tax evasion, says Deputy PM
AMMONNEWS - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Jamal Al-Sarayreh, said the government is working very seriously to translate the royal directives by going into the field and visit the governorates and check on citizens' needs in all their positions.
During a meeting with officials, members of parliament, and public figures in the northern of governorate of Irbid on Thursday, Al-Sarayreh said: 'We are aware of the challenges facing us, and we have the determination to deal with them despite the limited resources and turn them into opportunities for development, construction and modernization.' 'Irbid is a productive governorate with many human resources that contributed to building the Jordanian state since its establishment to the present day,' noting that efforts of Irbid's citizens are appreciated by His Majesty the King, the government and various state institutions due to the Syrian refugees crisis and its impacts on the governorate's services and infrastructure.
The Deputy Prime Minister spoke about a number of projects in various sectors that will be implemented in Irbid as well as a number of laws and legislations that will soon be endorsed, among which is the new tax law bill.
The new bill, Al-Sarayreh said, addresses imbalances, achieves balance and justice and reduces tax evasion.
