Unstable conditions continue for two days, forecast to bring rain
AMMONNEWS - The Kingdom will remain under the impact of unstable weather conditions on Monday and expected to bring lower temperatures and rainfall, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
Heavy rain accompanied with hail, thunder and lightning with floods in low area and desert regions are also forecast, the JMD said.
Daytime temperatures forecast for today in Amman will reach 26 degrees Celsius and in the southern cities they will stand at 28, dropping down at night in both areas to 13 . In the northern parts, mercury levels will range between a high of 28 degrees and a low of 14, while it will be hot in the port city of Aqaba with temperatures jumping to 32 degrees and sliding to 22 at night, the JMD added.
A tangible in temperatures is expected on Tuesday, bringing cold conditions with cloudy skies and rain showers across many parts of the Kingdom . Heavy rainfall accompanied with thunder and lightning are also expected mainly in the northern governorates.
'As of Tuesday night, the impact of the unstable weather conditions is expected to ease off, but with the remaining chance for scattered showers in the northern parts of the country,' the weather forecaster said.
Temperatures will start to rise as of Wednesday creating spring-like conditions in most areas, while it will be warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba. Clouds at various altitudes are also forecast with westerly to northwesterly moderate winds, causing dust mainly in the southern and eastern parts, the JMD further said.
