Jordan's stance towards Palestinian cause is resolved
AMMONNEWS - Head of the Palestine Committee at the House, MP Yahia Al Saud, said Jordan seeks in every possible way to alleviate suffering of the Palestinian people.
In a speech he delivered during the second day of the 23d session of the Palestinian National Council on Tuesday, the lawmaker noted the Kingdom has always underscored the importance of the Palestinian refugees' right to return to their homeland and establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
He highlighted Jordan's resolved stance in supporting the Palestinian cause to reach a comprehensive peace agreement based on the two-state solution, and said His Majesty is exerting relentless efforts to ensure peace and security in the volatile region.
On Jerusalem, he stressed the importance of the Hashemite guardianship over the holy city, which supports Palestinians' steadfastness, and called on the Arab and the Islamic nations to back the trusteeship.
