Rise in temps forecast Monday, Khamasini depression over next two days
AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Monday, becoming 4-5 degrees above their annual average and creating warm conditions across many parts of the country, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
Daytime temperatures forecast in Amman and the northern cities will reach 29 degrees Celsius dropping down to 19 and 18 respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 38 degrees and lows standing at 28, the JMD added.
The Kingdom will be affected by a Khamasini depression over the next two days, bringing cloudy skies and scattered showers in different parts of the country. Heavy rain accompanied with thunder and lightning are also expected on Tuesday and Wednesday with southeasterly moderate winds blowing dust at times mainly in the southern and eastern regions.
