Cloudy skies, unstable conditions continue for two days
AMMONNEWS - The Kingdom will remain on Thursday under the impact of unstable weather conditions, pushing down temperatures and bringing rainfall in different parts of the country, the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD) said.
Heavy rain accompanied with thunder and lightning are also expected mainly in the northern and southern regions, with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in the capital will reach 21 degrees Celsius dropping down to 13 at night, while in the northern and southern cities they will stand at 16 degrees, sliding to 11 and 5 respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 27 and lows standing at 18, the meteorologists said.
Partly cloudy skies with similar weather conditions will prevail on Friday with isolated showers in different parts of the country and westerly moderate winds, the JMD added.
A slight rise in mercury levels is forecast on Saturday, but it will remain partly cloudy with a chance for light showers mainly in the northern and eastern governorates. it added further.
