AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in mercury levels is forecast on Tuesday, but similar warm and spring weather will remain in the hilly areas and the Badia regions, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD) said.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman, will reach 29 degrees Celsius, in the northern cities 28 and 27 degrees in the southern parts, dropping down to16,17 and 13 degrees respectively at night. The weather will be hot in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 36 degrees and lows standing at 24, the JMD added.
A further rise in mercury levels is also expected over the next two days, becoming 6-7 degrees above their annual average creating warm conditions in the hilly areas, while it will be relatively hot in the capital and the Badia and hot in other regions with high clouds. Winds will be southwesterly moderate and northwesterly moderate to brisk at times, the JMD added.
