AMMONNEWS - A slight in mercury levels is expected on Tuesday, but pleasant and spring-like conditions will continue in the mountainous areas and the desert region, while it will be warm in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD) said.
This evening, the Kingdom will be affected by a weak spell of unstable weather, bringing cloudy skies with scattered showers mainly in the southern parts of the country, while winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk at times, blowing dust in the southern and eastern regions.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman and the northern cities will hover around 24 degrees Celsius dropping down to 11 degrees at night. The weather will be hotter in the Gulf of Aqaba with highs reaching 32 degrees and lows standing at 18, the JMD added.
Temperatures will rise few degrees on Wednesday, so moderate weather will prevail in many areas, but the country will remain under the impact of the unstable weather conditions until Thursday. Clouds at various altitudes are also expected with a chance for showers in the southern regions, the department noted.
Heavy rain is also forecast on Thursday, while winds will be southeasterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust at times, the JMD further said.
