AMMONNEWS - A rise in temperatures is expected on Monday, becoming 5-6 degrees above their seasonal average bringing warm conditions in the hilly areas, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD) said in its daily brief.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman, the northern and the southern cities will hover around 26 degrees Celsius dropping down to 11,12 and 9 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the Gulf of Aqaba with highs reaching 33 degrees and lows standing at 19, the JMD added.
Mercury levels will slightly on Tuesday, therefore spring-like conditions will return in the mountainous areas and the desert region while it will be warm in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. A weak spell of unstable weather is forecast Tuesday evening with chances of light rain mainly in the southern and northern parts Kingdom.
