AMMONNEWS - Pleasant spring weather is expected on Sunday in the hilly areas and the Badia regions, while it will be warm in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba with high clouds and easterly light winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman and the northern cities will reach 23 degrees Celsius dropping down to 13 and 14 degrees respectively at night. In the Gulf of Aqaba, hot weather is forecast with highs reaching 32 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 19 degrees at night, the JMD added.
A slight rise in temperatures is forecast on Monday becoming 3-4 degrees above their annual average. Therefore, it will be warm in the highlands and the Badia, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba with northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD added.
Mercury levels will slightly on Tuesday, but similar conditions will continue during morning hours. In the afternoon, the Kingdom will be affected again by unstable weather conditions bringing cloudy skies with a chance for light showers at night in the southern and eastern parts of the country.
Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust in the desert areas, the JMD noted.
