Safadi meet accredited military attachés to Jordan
AMMONNEWS - Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi on Sunday met with a delegation of accredited military attachés in Amman and discussed relations between Jordan and their countries as well as regional and international developments, specially the Palestinian issues and the fight against terrorism.
Safadi stressed that the Palestinian issue remains the core issue in the Middle East, calling for making progress in the political process to realize the two-state solution, which guarantees an independent, sovereign Palestinians state on the basis of June 4,1967 lines, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
The minister also outlined Jordan's efforts to fight terrorism at the military, security and ideological levels, highlighting Jordan's initiatives in this regard. Despite the recent field and military successes against terrorism, we still face security and intellectual challenges that require a holistic plan, the minister said.
