Jordan to participate in Arab-Brazilian Economic Forum in April
AMMONNEWS - The Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC) will organize the participation of the Jordanian private sector's delegation in the Arab-Brazilian Economic Forum that will be held in the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo early next month.
According to the JCC President Nael Kabariti, the forum will address topics related to innovation, technology, food security, logistics, tourism, energy, renewable energy, investment and trade marks.
During a meeting with Counsellor at the Brazilian embassy in Amman, Jose Ferreira, Kabariti said that investment opportunities in the Kingdom in the pharmaceuticals, infrastructure, construction, information technology, e-learning and agriculture, will be showcased during the forum.
The two sides also discussed the possibility of enhancing and developing economic relations between the two countries, possibilities of taking part in the reconstruction process in Syria and Iraq and the establishment of a joint Jordanian-Brazilian company concerned with the agricultural sector.
Al-Kabariti pointed to the depth of relations between the two friendly countries in all fields and Jordan's keenness to enhance trade with Brazil, pointing to the importance of increasing the level of cooperation, especially with regard to bilateral trade and investment and increasing the volume of Jordanian exports to Brazil.
