AMMONNEWS - Warm conditions are forecast to prevail on Wednesday with high clouds and southwesterly moderate to brisk winds, blowing dust at times, the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD) said in its daily brief.
Daytime temperatures forecast for today in Amman and the northern cities will reach 23 degrees Celsius dropping at night to 14 and 15 respectively, while it will be much warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 30 degrees and lows standing at 21, the JMD added.
Mercury levels will keep rising on Thursday, becoming 10 degrees above their annual average, so warm weather will continue in the hilly areas and the Badia regions, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba with high clouds and southwesterly brisk winds, the JMD noted.
A tangible in temperatures is expected on Friday, bringing back pleasant weather in the hilly areas, but it will still warm in other parts of the Kingdom with low clouds in the northern and central regions. Winds will be northwesterly raising dust and causing low visibility in various areas, the JMD added.
